Phygify is a Swiss-based startup with IT and business development capabilities that is focused on integrating blockchain and Web3 technology into a range of business concepts. Our team is made of passionate professionals and experts across a range of disciplines such as finance, business, IT, marketing, and arts, who are inspired and fascinated by the crypto space and everything that NFTs have to offer.

Moonmug, our previous endeavor, served as the Phygify team’s first project that opened the gateway to leveraging the extensive range of benefits offered by combining e-commerce with emerging Web3 technologies.

The journey started on 17th November 2021, with a limited Christmas collection of ten thousand Moonkies. They were formed from a mix of different attributes and fully conceptualized and designed in Zürich, Switzerland.

Each NFT in the collection is backed by a physical mug, known as the Moonmug, which is claimable at any time. All Moonmugs were hand-crafted, distributed, and delivered to their holders from Switzerland to different countries around the entire world.

In less than a year's time, the project matured and evolved into what Phygify is today: the world's first Web3 e-commerce monetization platform. This work will continue to always be a vital part of the Phygify community, as our team will continue branding Moonmug within the Phygify platform. In fact, the Moonmug project’s native token, $MUG, will eventually be integrated into the Phygify platform to provide holders with a range of benefits.

Now, our team is using the experience and success of our previous projects to take the ideas we previously explored to the next level in the form of a revolutionary e-commerce platform set to serve the community as a whole.

Jan S. (CEO & Co-founder)

Jan is an entrepreneur and former banking professional with ten years of experience working in client-facing roles. In January 2020, he became the CFO of a German-exchange listed e-commerce and software solutions company. During 2021, Jan became professionally engaged in his longtime passion for blockchain and crypto by becoming a vital stakeholder in several successful projects. In 2022, he launched Phygify: an e-commerce Web3 platform focused on unlocking the full potential of merging physical and digital goods as a way to monetize NFTs.

Tatiana K. (COO & Co-founder)

Tatiana is a banking professional with broad experience and education in economics, management, and investment research. For three years, she headed the corporate education division of a foreign education institute. In 2017, she joined the Swiss banking sector, mainly working with HNWI/UHNWI. Her roles included asset allocation, being a client-relationship manager, and serving as an investment advisor. In 2022, she co-launched Phygify.

Manu P. (Blockchain Developer)

Manu is a qualified frontend and blockchain developer with long-term experience across a plurality of fields. In addition to being a Web3 and traditional IT environment specialist with experience in international exchange-listed companies, Manu is also an artist with a passion for electronic music that he loves to create in his free time.

Selby K. (Full-stack Developer)

Selby is an entrepreneur with broad experience and education in electrical engineering, computer science, and business administration fields. In 2020, he co-launched Food Porty: an adtech platform for grocery items and beverages. In 2021, he co-founded remotescout.ch: an HR-Tech company for remote jobs in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. Selby is very passionate about research and enjoys writing in his free time.

Fernando M. (Graphic designer & UI/UX Specialist)

Fernando is a UX/UI graphic designer and illustrator with years of experience and a strong passion for art and technology. In parallel to his ongoing studies, he co-launched an e-commerce platform for collectibles and works as a freelancer for several projects. Fernando is an inspired artist with a wide portfolio of digital paintings and character designs.

Ifigenia M. (Illustrator & Graphic designer)

Ifigenia is an entrepreneur with long-term experience and education in illustration and graphic design. She has a variety of skills covering brand identity design, logo and character design, animation, and design for social media marketing. In 2021, Ifigenia created her own e-commerce platform with cat-inspired designs on stationary products that are inspired by her love of animals.

Promote & Scale (Marketing)

Promote and Scale is a Web3 marketing agency based in Zug, Switzerland. The company boasts a vast knowledge of the landscape and has had significant success in helping up-and-coming projects grow their audience and realize their full potential. Spearheaded by Yasi and Ivana, the Promote and Scale team is leading Phygify’s ongoing marketing initiatives through a tailor-made marketing and branding strategy.
